In which order should I use my products?Updated a month ago
Here’s a general guide to help you organise your products. Remember, you don’t need to use every step listed – this is just a framework to help you understand where each product fits.
Everyone’s skin is different, so feel free to adjust based on your needs, preferences, and the time you have.
Some people prefer a quick 2-3 step routine, while others enjoy a full multi-step process. The most important thing is consistency, avoiding to mix ingredients that may not work well together, and using products in the right order.

Morning (AM):
- Cleanser
- Toner/Pads
- Concentrate
- Serum
- Eye cream
- Oil
- Moisturiser + SPF; or SPF moisturiser
- SPF Top-up Mist - throughout the day
Evening (PM):
- Cleanser
- Treat – This step can include a toner, essence, exfoliating pads, mask, or scrub-choose ONE based on your skin’s needs. If you’re using a treatment serum or concentrate (e.g. Retinol, Glycolic Acid) in your routine, you may want to skip this step on those nights to avoid over-exfoliation. Always follow the product’s recommended usage frequency for best results.

Getting the Best Results from Your Skincare
- Don't skip SPF: SPF isn’t just an optional step – up to 80% of visible signs of ageing, like fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation, are caused by UV damage. UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin, breaking down collagen and worsening hyperpigmentation. Daily SPF shields your skin from this damage and ensures you get the best results from your other products, especially if you’re using exfoliants or Retinol, which can make your skin more prone to UV damage. SPF in makeup alone is not enough to provide even coverage so always apply a standalone SPF all year around.
- Take it slow: When incorporating new products into your routine, introduce them one at a time and give your skin time to adjust. Everyone's skin is different and while some people can tolerate really active routines, others will benefit more from using these strong actives just a couple of times a week, or may just need more time to build up their tolerance.
- Focus on one treatment per application: For leave-on treatments avoid layering multiple products with strong actives all at once even if it is the same active ingredient.
- Wash-off vs. leave-on: Active cleansers are generally gentler and less likely to interact with other products, but leave-on treatments like serums and concentrates should be carefully layered to avoid irritation.
- Patch test first: Always test new products on a small area, such as the inside of the arm or the bend of the elbow, to check for sensitivity before use.
- Cleanse thoroughly in the PM: If you wear makeup or are prone to breakouts or blackheads, we recommend double-cleansing by using an oil, cream, or balm first to break down any SPF, pollution, and grime, and then using a gel cleanser to remove any residue. This ensures that your pores don't get clogged in the first place.
